What is a folding deck pool cover and how does it work?
The BREE Folding Deck Pool Cover is an automatic folding pool covering system.
When the pool is in use, the deck panels fold and retract to one side of the pool. When the pool is not in use, the panels unfold to cover the entire pool and transform the water area into usable deck space.
Depending on site conditions, the system can be designed with external folding or a concealed internal folding solution. -
How much space is required for the folding system?
The required space depends on the pool width, panel structure and folding configuration.
For external folding, sufficient space must be reserved beside the pool for the folded panels and operating system.
If the surrounding area is limited, we can evaluate a concealed internal folding solution.
Please send us the pool dimensions, photos and available surrounding space so we can recommend the most suitable configuration. -
Is the folding pool cover load-bearing? Can people walk on it?
Yes.
The BREE Folding Deck Pool Cover can be customized for different load requirements, generally from 100–400 kg/m².
When fully closed, the deck can be used for walking, relaxing, outdoor furniture or other activities according to the designed load capacity.
For heavy furniture, equipment or commercial use, please inform us in advance so the structure can be engineered accordingly. -
Is it suitable for families with children?
Yes. It is particularly suitable for projects where pool use, space efficiency and family safety are all important.
When the pool is not in use, the cover can be fully closed over the water, reducing exposure to the open pool while creating usable deck space.
Final safety specifications should be designed according to the project requirements and local regulations. -
Can it be installed on an existing pool?
Yes, subject to a site evaluation.
The BREE Folding Deck Pool Cover can be designed for both new and existing swimming pools.
For an existing pool, we normally evaluate:
*Pool size and shape
*Available surrounding space
*Folding and storage position
*Pool structur
*Track and equipment installation conditions
For new pools, we recommend involving us during the design stage for better integration. -
Can it be installed on an irregular-shaped pool?
Yes.
BREE systems can be customized for standard rectangular pools and many irregular-shaped pools.
Complex shapes normally require more detailed structural design and panel planning.
Please provide pool plans, dimensions and site photos so our engineers can evaluate the most suitable covering and folding solution. -
How is the folding pool cover controlled?
The BREE Folding Deck Pool Cover is automatically operated.
Depending on the project, it can be equipped with remote control, push-button controls or a PLC intelligent control system. -
Can the surface finish match the surrounding deck?
Yes.
The surface can be customized to coordinate with the architecture and surrounding landscape.
Options can include wood finishes, artificial turf and other technically approved materials.
Colors and materials can be selected to help the closed pool cover blend naturally with the surrounding deck.
Heavy stone or special finishes require structural evaluation. -
What is the maximum size of a folding pool cover?
Every BREE Folding Deck Pool Cover is custom manufactured.
As a general reference, the current maximum installation size is approximately:
Up to 10 m in width, with the length customized according to the project.
Different pool sizes require different structural and drive configurations.
Large residential, hotel or commercial pools require individual engineering evaluation. -
How much does a folding deck pool cover cost?
Every BREE Folding Deck Pool Cover is custom designed and manufactured, so there is no single standard price.
The cost mainly depends on:
*Pool length and width
*Material
*Required load capacity
*External or concealed folding solution
-
What is a movable pool floor and how does it work?
The BREE Movable Pool Floor is a lifting platform system installed inside the swimming pool.
The platform moves vertically between the bottom of the pool and the surrounding deck level.
When lowered, it functions as a normal swimming pool. At an intermediate level, it creates a shallow-water area. When fully raised, it covers the pool and transforms the area into usable floor space.
One pool can therefore provide deep-water, shallow-water and floor modes. -
Can the water depth be adjusted?
Yes.
This is one of the main advantages of a movable pool floor. The platform can stop at different heights to create different usable water depths.
For example:
*Deep water for swimming
*Shallow water for children
*Leisure or play mode
*Fully raised floor mode
The available positions are customized according to the project. -
Can people walk or place furniture on the raised floor?
Yes.
The BREE Movable Pool Floor can be customized for different load requirements, generally from 100–400 kg/m².
When fully raised, the platform can be used for walking, relaxing, outdoor furniture or other activities according to the designed load capacity.
For heavy furniture, fitness equipment or commercial use, please inform us in advance so the structure can be engineered accordingly. -
Is it suitable for families with children?
Yes. It is particularly suitable for projects where both pool enjoyment and family safety are important.
When the pool is not in use, the platform can be raised to cover the water surface.
The floor can also be positioned at a shallow depth for children's water activities.
Final safety specifications should always be designed according to the project conditions and local requirements. -
Can it be installed in an existing pool?
Yes, subject to a site evaluation.
The BREE Movable Pool Floor can be designed for both new and existing swimming pools.
For an existing pool, we normally evaluate:
*Pool structure
*Wall verticality
*Floor level
*Underwater lights and water inlets/outlets
*Available installation space
For new projects, we recommend involving us during the design stage for the best integration. -
Can it be installed in a round or irregular-shaped pool?
Yes.
BREE systems can be customized for rectangular, round and many irregular-shaped pools.
Complex shapes normally require more detailed engineering.
Please provide pool plans, dimensions, sections and site photos so our engineers can evaluate the most suitable solution. -
How is the floor controlled?
The BREE lifting system can be operated using remote control, push-button controls or a PLC control system.
Different floor positions and operating modes can be configured for convenient switching between deep-water, shallow-water and floor modes.
The final control configuration depends on the project requirements. -
Can the movable floor match the surrounding deck?
Yes.
The surface finish can be customized to coordinate with the architecture and surrounding landscape.
Options can include wood finishes, tiles and other technically approved materials.
When fully raised, the platform can be designed to achieve a clean and integrated appearance with the surrounding deck.
Heavy stone or special finishes require structural evaluation. -
What are the installation requirements?
For stable operation, the pool structure must meet certain construction requirements.
Normally:
*Pool walls should be vertical and flat
*Pool bottom should be level
*Underwater lights should be flush with the wall where possible
*Water inlets and outlets should not obstruct platform movement
*Tracks and equipment positions should be planned in advance
Higher construction accuracy generally provides better operation and finishing quality. -

The price mainly depends on:- Pool dimensions
- Pool shape
- Required load capacity
- Lifting height
- Drive system
- Surface finish
- New or existing pool
- Installation location and site conditions
